The Search for the City's "Echo"

Hi, I'm Mark, founder of reverbride.com.
Before I started this brand, I was just like you: an ordinary cyclist on the city streets. Every day I commuted between my home and the office – my bike was my closest companion. However, I encountered a frustrating problem: bicycle accessories on the market were either extremely expensive, geared towards professional sports and visually too "hardcore," or they were low-quality mass-produced goods that couldn't withstand the changing weather.

I was looking for something simple, reliable, and affordable – not for the Tour de France, but for our real lives.

"I'm not a professional athlete. I'm just someone who wants to cycle safely in the city."

In Search of the "Perfect Echo"

In 2021, I moved to Munich and worked as a product manager at a startup. During the day, I dealt with the precision and high demands of the German market; in the evenings, I explored my new city on my saddle. During these nights, one thought solidified: If I can't find the products I need, why don't I develop them myself?
With my experience in supply chain management and my focus on quality, I began to visit manufacturers directly. My goal was crystal clear:

  • No artificial markups: We forgo expensive sponsoring and complex distribution channels. The savings go directly into material quality.
  • Focus on real everyday scenarios: We don't sell aero equipment for 50 km/h. We focus on the essentials: waterproof bags, durable lighting systems, comfortable saddles for commuters, and clever storage solutions for the home.

I named the brand Reverbride (a combination of Reverb and Ride). Because I believe that every pedal stroke is a dialogue with the city – and every product we carefully develop becomes a reliable "echo" on your journeys.
