Frequently Asked Questions
Will this saddle fit my e-bike or my regular city bike?
Yes, absolutely! The ReverbRide is designed to fit almost 99% of all bicycles. Thanks to its universal double-rail design (standard rail), the saddle can be mounted in less than 5 minutes with the appropriate clamp for your e-bike, city bike, or exercise bike. It's the ideal choice for commuters and casual riders who value comfort.
Why does the saddle have a cut-out in the middle?
This is our special "pressure relief and ventilation channel". This design fulfills two important functions:
- Pressure relief: It reduces pressure in the perineal area for both men and women, promotes blood circulation, and prevents the typical numbness experienced on long rides.
- Breathability: It improves air circulation, keeping your buttocks comfortably dry even in hot summer or during intense rides.
Is the bike seat waterproof? Does it soak up water in the rain?
No need to worry! The surface is made of high-quality, waterproof PU leather that is particularly abrasion-resistant and weather-resistant. After a rain shower, the saddle can simply be wiped dry with a cloth. As water cannot penetrate the internal foam, the material remains durable and retains its shape.
Does this saddle have shock absorption?
Yes. A robust dual-spring system is installed on the underside of the saddle. Whether potholes, speed bumps, or uneven cobblestones in the city – the suspension effectively absorbs shocks, thus protecting your spine and tailbone. It almost feels like you are riding on a comfortable sofa.
Isn't the wide design a bit awkward to use at first?
Every person has a different sit bone width. When switching to an ergonomic, wide saddle, the gluteal muscles often need a short acclimatisation period during the first 1–2 rides. We recommend making minimal adjustments to the saddle's position and tilt during the first rides to suit your individual sitting position. Only then can the ReverbRide unleash its full 100% comfort performance!
